Day 18 Los Angeles day 1 (1st September 2015)

Today we took a tour around LA on the rastabus. A brilliant day! Highly recomend this company of you want a great tour around the main highlight in LA. They started by picking us up at the hotel on Sunset Boulevard and taking us down to Santa Monica to catch the main tour. They provided fruit which was great and an endless supply of cold water during a rather warm day!

First stop -
Venice beach

This was Arnie's favourite hangout in his younger days but is apparently often seen cycling here. Didn't see any blokes with muscles working out...too early in the day. Also can you imagine an outside gym like this in the UK?!? Get used about 4 days of the year!!

Second stop-
Beverley Hills and Rodeo Drive

Apparently this shop charges a MINUMUM of $50,000 for a suit and if you want to go in the shop you have to pay a non refundable deposit of $1,500. No wonder the guy drives a car like this!! Ots a different world this sort of wealth. Wouldn't mind giving it a go though!!!!

Third stop -
Farmer's market for lunch

 Brussel sprouts!!

Fourth stop - Griffith Observatory for great views of LA and the HOLLYWOOD sign!

Fifth stop -

We did pass Paramount  studios on the way there!

The Chinese theatre, handprints and footprints and the walk of fame stars on the pavement.

So happy to have found this one:

Some of my favourite actors/actresses:

Tonight we went for a meal at http://www.thesaddleranch.com/sunset.html which i would totally recommend! The mechanical bull certainly adds to the entertainment!

Tomorrow .... Universal Studios! Our last full day in LA.
