Today we went to the White Heather Tea rooms for afternoon tea! We had the big muckle giant tea for 3 and there was so much i couldn't eat all of the cakes! This is totally unheard of. Food was delicious and would highly recommend. I had looked at the Empress Hotel for afternoon tea but at double the cost of the White Heather there was no competition! Be sure to book this place gets busy busy busy!!!!
Afterwards we walked to Willows Beach in Oak Bay - past some gorgeous houses!

Day 8 - Saturday 22nd August - Butchart Gardens
We had a fabulous day today. First off we went to the local shopping centre where i treated myself to this concotion of frozen yoghurt then in the afternoon we headed downtown to John's Place for a massive and I mean massive brunch!!! Yummmmmmmy
Afterwards we caught a bus to Butchart Gardens - now everyone who has been told me this was a fantastic place to go and boy oh boy were they right. I totally fell in love with the place. It is magical - we wandered around admiring the flowers before settling down on the lawns to listen to live music from The Legends, fab. At 9.15 we all moved over to the firework viewing area and were treated to a fantastic firework display choreographed to music.
It was a bit of a hectic scramble to get a bus back to Victoria and we got in around midnight but it was a wonderful day. That look from Dominique was probably due to me singing along with the band!!
Day 9 - Sunday 23rd August
Today we walked again to Oak Bay and spent most of the day there at Willows Beach. It was beautiful and sunny. I slept on the beach and on the grass! It was about an hour slow stroll in the sunshine and was a lovely afternoon. Lots of families were doing BBQ's, playing sports together etc and the place had a lovely atmosphere.
We spotted an Orca but it moved too quickly out of shot ;-)
